Ambassador

The LDMD Ambassadors, clad in bright safety yellow shirts, prvide hospitality service to residents , visitors, and employees in the District.
 
Hospitality
Team members offer pedestrians a greeting and assistance when encountering those who may need help.
 
Escort
Upon request, a Team member will walk a person to his/car vehicle or other destination after dark or in any situation when a person feels uneasy about walking alone.
 
Directions
All team members carry downtown visitor maps to give to people on the streets.

Other Assistance
The team members aid pedestrians and motorists when they need any type of assistance like flat tires, dead batteries, EMS services, etc.
