LDMD works closely with elected officials, government staff representatives and numerous other organizations to ensure our member’s interests are addressed and that downtown Louisville remains a priority. We advocate and lobby on behalf of downtown, for the benefit of all property and business owners.
As part of its continuing focus on partnership development, programming will be developed to educate partners regarding the many aspects relating to downtown. Partners additionally receive regular communications about downtown events, activities and updates.
Members of the Downtown Partnership Program also have the opportunity to join all LDMD sponsored standing and ad hoc committees, which include many beautification, sustainability, marketing and streetscape improvement initiatives downtown.
Just as LDMD and its services work to enhance relationships, downtown partners will also be able to develop new relationships and build on existing ones. Through this combined effort all parties will achieve more and develop a strengthened sense of community and better engagement.
