STREET CLOSURES — SATURDAY, MAY 25
The following streets will be closed, or have their traffic diverted, between 7 am to 11 am on Saturday, May 25, 2013 for the 2013 Run For The "L" Of It. Adjacent streets will also be affected by this event.
- Third Street: Liberty to Chestnut Street
- Liberty Street: Third to Fourth Street
- Fourth Street: Liberty to Main Street
- Main Street: Fourth to Eighth Street (Two most southern lanes only)
- Eighth Street: Main to Chestnut Street
- Chestnut Street: Eighth to Third Street
2013 MAYOR'S HIKE AND BIKE STREET CLOSURE LIST AND NO PARKING AREAS — MONDAY, MAY 27
The following streets will be closed during the following times:
8 am to 2 pm:
- Witherspoon Street from First Street to River Road
- River Road from Preston to Witherspoon Street
- Floyd Street from Market to Witherspoon Street (Access will be allowed for Waterfront Park Place residents)
- First Street from Witherspoon Street to Muhammad Ali Boulevard
- Main Street from Preston to Third Street (Access will be allowed for Fleur de Lis on Main residents)
- Muhammad Ali Boulevard from First to Third Street
10 am to 1 pm:
- Third Street from Main Street to Broadway
- Third Street from Broadway to Southern Parkway
- Southern Parkway Ramp from Interstate 264 (Watterson Expressway) eastbound and westbound
- Southern Parkway from Third Street to New Cut Road
- Olmsted Drive from New Cut to Rundill Road
- Rundill Road from Uppill to Amphitheatre Road
- Knollgate Road from New Cut to Rundill Road
- New Cut Road from Huntoon to Kenwood Drive
- Second Street from Cardinal Boulevard to Broadway
- Northbound Second Street from Broadway to Market Street
- Market Street from Second to Floyd Street
- Floyd Street from Market to Witherspoon Street
NO PARKING AREAS
The following streets be designated no parking from 7 am to 2 pm:
- Witherspoon Street from Preston Street to River Road
- River Road from Preston to Witherspoon Street
- Floyd Street from Witherspoon to Market Street
- First Street from Witherspoon to Market Street
- Market Street (no parking on north side only) from Second to Floyd Street
- Second Street from Breckinridge Street to Cardinal Boulevard
- Third Street from Breckinridge Street to Cardinal Boulevard
2013 CRUSADE FOR CHILDREN STREET CLOSURE LIST — SUNDAY, JUNE 2
The following streets will be closed from 7:30 am until 7 pm:
- Chestnut Street from Fifth to Eighth Street
- Fifth Street from Muhammad Ali Boulevard to Broadway
- Armory Place from Muhammad Ali Boulevard to Chestnut Street
- Sixth Street from Muhammad Ali Boulevard to Chestnut Street
The following street will be closed from 7:30 am until 11 pm:
- Sixth Street from Chestnut Street to Broadway
2013 COLOR RUN STREET CLOSURE LIST — SATURDAY, JUNE 8
The following streets will be closed, or have their traffic diverted, between 5 am to 11 am on Saturday, June 8, 2013 for the 2013 Color Run. Adjacent streets will also be affected by this event.
- Washington from Second to Preston Street
- E. Witherspoon Street from Second Street to River Road
- Preston Street from Washington Street to River Road
- Floyd Street from Washington to E. Witherspoon Street
- Brook Street from Washington to E. Witherspoon Street
- First Street from Washington to E. Witherspoon Street
- River Road from Preston Street to Frankfort Avenue
- All parking lots along River Road from Witherspoon Street to Frankfort Avenue
